10-year-old boy among 3 on bike killed in crash

Three people, including a 10-year-old boy, died when their motorcycle collided with a truck at Jalan Persiaran Tanjung in Tampoi here this afternoon.

The motorcycle and the truck will go in the same direction, from Jalan Cempaka to Plaza Angsana.

“The driver was identified as Shahril Abdullah, 38, while the passenger, Habsah Jailani, 41, and Dany Lukman Naim Abdullah, 10, were pronounced dead at the scene by doctors. “The driver of the truck, Faizi Fuad Tan, 30, escaped unharmed,” he said.

He added that the three bodies have been handed over to the police.
